The original Legoland opened in 1968 and Billund in South Denmark. The park is next to the original Lego factory and Billund Airport, Denmark's second-busiest airport.

Today it is one of the most popular family attractions in Denmark. Just nearby Legoland, you can see the first Lego® factory. The company started here more than 80 years ago.

In Legoland, it is possible to see world-known buildings built of thousands of Lego® bricks. You can explore countries made on a small scale, also constructed entirely of Lego bricks. 

Or you can explore the fascinating Miniland and discover a wonderful world, everything built with millions of LEGO® bricks.

How to get to Legoland

Legoland is 260 km west of Copenhagen and about 3,5 hours drive from Copenhagen. If you take the train, you stop in Vejle and then take a bus to Billund.

Just next to Legoland is located the second busiest airport in Denmark, Billund Airport, where flights are flying to Copenhagen and many other cities in Europe. It takes about 50 minutes to fly to and from Copenhagen.
