The National Maritime Museum

At the National Maritime Museum you will find the Swedish vessels and warships from the 17th century and onwards.

An efforts to master the sea and the impact of merchant shipping on society, as well as pirates of the past and present and about life onboard.

The maritime Museum is very kids friendly, and you will find a playroom and a creative workshop for children, as well as a restaurant with a fantastic view.

Discover also the museum’s floating museum ships and boat collection near the Vasa Museum—open during the summer.
