Norway- Historic fjord, city & arctic roundtrip

Experience Bergen and Oslo with fjords in one package and select Tromsø and perhaps also Svalbard to experience the arctic region of Norway.

This tour includes Bergen and Oslo with fjords in one package and selects Svalbard to experience the optimum of Norway.

Day 1-2: Start in Bergen

Where to stay

Your trip starts with 2 nights at the historic and wonderful Solstrand Hotel & Bad. For over a hundred years, Solstrand's exquisite location outside Bergen, beautiful surroundings and magnificent views of Norway's fjords and mountains have captivated guests from far and wide.

Flights to Bergen

Bergen Airport, also known as Bergen Flesland Airport is an international airport and is the second-largest airport in Norway. The airport has non-stop passenger flights scheduled to 62 destinations in 19 countries.

At present (primo March 2022)  there are 17 domestic flights from Bergen.

Day 3- 6: Discover Oslo

Enjoy the room of reflection, the food and the unique hospitality before you leave for the capital of Norway, Oslo.

In Oslo, we want to accommodate you for 2 nights at either beautiful Camillas Hus or Lysebu. Camillas Hus is a brand new first-class historic hotel in the centre of Oslo, close to the castle. From here you have easy access to Oslo's history and sights.

Lysebu is straight out of a Norwegian fairy-tale, surrounded by unspoilt nature. The hotel is idyllically situated at the top of Holmenkollen and yet just 20 minutes from the pulsing heart of the city.

After 3 days in Oslo, you continue with a flight to Tromsø

Day 7 -9: Visit Tromsø

Tromsø is the capital of the Northern Light and from September to April, you can be lucky to see this natural phenomenon, and also try many different arctic activities.

In the summer you can see the amazing Midnight sun because the sun is above the horizon 24/7.

Day 10- 13: Visit untouched Arctic Svalbard

At Svalbard, one of the world’s largest areas of untouched nature awaits you on 78 degrees north. In the dark season, it's 24/7 without any daylight in Longyearbyen, and this attracts people from all over the world to experience the unique northern lights of the High Arctic.

A stay on Svalbard is the perfect vacation if you want peace, quiet and space for thoughts and dreams. Thoughts swell in the encounter with Svalbard’s exciting wildlife, history and fascinating cultural monuments located across the archipelago. We move with respect in this vulnerable landscape.

We recommend you to stay at Svalbard Hotel for 2 nights and the historic restaurant Huset restaurant will give you tastes to remember.
