The Iceberg building in Aarhus

The Iceberg building (Isbjerget) is part of the new harbour front in Aarhus.

Nearby the city center, you will find this unique architectural masterpiece. It is the newest hipster quarter in Aarhus called Aarhus East.

You can decide to take the public bus out here (15 min) or take a stroll (30 min) to the harbor area from the city center and get inspired by the new Aarhus harbor area.

The Iceberg was constructed in a way that provides optimum sea view from the apartments, and the criss-cross points make the building bear the strong resemblance to floating icebergs breaking up.

Just as an example of the innovative atmosphere and thinking out here, they have pinnacles of the roofs rise up and plunge down which creates a visual depth similar to that seen in a real iceberg.
