Glyptoteket

Copenhagen has a large number of interesting museums, and one of the most exciting art museums are Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek.

The museum was originally founded by Carl Jacobsen, founder of the Carlsberg Brewery.

The Beautiful architectural environment is room for two departments of modern and ancient art.

The Unique Collections

If you take a walk through the Department of Antiquities, you will find excellent collections of Egyptian, Greek, Etruscan and Roman art, which goes back 3500 years.

In the modern department, you can experience Danish painting and sculpture art from the 1900 and 2000 century. There will also be an opportunity to experience French art from the same period.

Visit the cafe

If you need a break, you can take a walk around the beautiful spacious conservatory, or visit the cafe. It`s a good idea to keep an eye on museum exhibitions and events.
